PROJECT 5: CARNET DE FAMILLE

Carnet de famille translated in English by “The Family Book” was initially created by a French entrepreneur. The company wanted to create a website with a interface that offers a simplified, refreshing take on social media, paring its features down to the absolute necessities. Users could post status updates and photos to their walls, send private messages, tag someone in a post, send cooking receipts, etc.

Users could also host discussions and save their family's contact information on this private site with calendar capabilities and file sharing options. As a graphic designer I entirely designed (started from scratch) the “family book” website by creating the brand  identity and the complete website's interface with logos, website icons, pictures. My skills as a UX designer helped me to tak care of the entire process of acquiring and integrating the product, including aspects of design, usability and function before the user try the platform (beta version). Additionally experienced as UI designer (User interface) I was in charge of making the interface in software with a focus on looks or style. I created the design users to be easy to use and pleasurable.

Achievements:

  1. Delivered on time, a complete and responsive website interface with over 110 pages.
  2. Improved usability, accessibility, and functionality of the website after beta version.
  3. Successfully taught the new graphic designer how to use the design and fell of the brand identity independently. (How to design banners, email blasts, flyers and POS.
